HSA(The Hawaii State Assessments) begin February 26. ______ days until HSA?

The HSA examination period  will begin February 26-March 1 for Reading and Math and March 12-13 for Science. It's only a test but try your ...BEST!

Plastic Pollution and Sea Birds:



Class, this video is a little gross. You will see dead birds and what they eat. It is also important to learn about a problem that is affecting our ocean and the animals(including us) that depend on it.

This weekend I visited the beach on the East side of O'ahu and I found a lot of plastic pieces that have been washed ashore.  Look at it all! This is the area where I was sitting.

How to help:

1. REDUCE your daily use of disposable plastics
         -Identify what they are,
         -Reduce your use

2. PICK UP around your house, school, and at the beach. Just make sure to wash your hands         or use gloves.

3. VOLUNTEER/ DONATE money to charities that are researching the problem such as


Algalita Research Foundation. B.E.A.C.H (Beach Environmental Campaign Hawai'i), Surfrider Foundation


4.  EDUCATE yourself and SPREAD THE WORD to your friends and family
